Peto Pig
Initially influenced during my years living in Australia (2000 - 2013) riding a 67’ Peter Clarke surfboard shaped by Keith Paul. This shape has been a staple in my quiver since around 2006. I shaped a set of twin pigs for everyone’s favorite logger Mr. Alex Knost upon my return to California late in 2013; he went on to have great success riding the Pigs through about 2016. I was blown by the response the shape gained internationally at that time, also favored by other longboard aficionados, Kassia Meador, Lola Mignot, West Adler, Leah Dawson, and Colin Whitbread. The Peto Pig is a great all-around performing log designed for point waves and long walls in the waist-to-head high range. It is geared for advanced surfers but also works great for intermediate surfers looking to experience maximum lift while noseriding in the pocket, combined with a genuinely unique, pendulum-style turning aspect. Dane is currently riding this shape in the following dimensions - 9'4" x 22 15/16" x 2 3/4"
